The Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-operative (BADAC) was established by members of the Ballarat and district Aboriginal community in 1979. It became a co-operative to deliver health, social, welfare and community development programs to local Aboriginal people.

Conciliation is a specific service for parents who are separates and wish to reach an agreement with an ex-partner about issues such as care and contact of children. Conciliation is designed to allow parents to reach agreements themselves in the best interest of children without the complexity of court proceedings.

Child & Family Services (CAFS) provides a divese range of services which include Family Services, Out of home care and support services, Family Violence Support & Men's Behaviour Change, Housing and Homelessness Support Services, Gambler's Help Services, Financial Counselling, Youth Care, Residential Care, and CAFS Thread Together Hub.

CAFS provides a number of services which include Family Services; in-home support, Day Stay Program, parenting and mentoring groups; Parenting Assistance and Skills Development Services (PADSD) for families referred by Child Protection, Families First & Child FIRST; Out of home care and support services; Family Violence Intervention & Family Support Programs, Housing Support Services, Gambler's Help Service, Financial Counselling, PACT programs (Housing advocacy and support), VCAT Duty Service.

Relationships Australia provide relationship support services for all individuals through Australia with the aim to achieve positive and respectful relationships.

Activities

Services include: Early Matters, an early intervention parenting support service; Reclaim, supporting victims of organisational sexual abuse; Compass, supporting anyone affected by Forced Adoption (parent, child or relatives); counselling (individual, couple and family); family dispute resolution and education programs. Counselling and Family Dispute Resolution are fee paying and means tested, but people are not denied a service if they cannot pay. Disability accessible.
